The DRP website has moved. Please follow the link for current information. This page is archived as of Spring 2023, and no longer kept up to date.
What is the DRP? Emory's directed reading program (DRP) pairs motivated undergraduates with graduate students to learn a topic together. It began during the Covid-19 pandemic in Spring 2021, with two DRP groups meeting virtually on Zoom. Since then the program has grown a lot; we have seen greater student and mentor participation, students now earn course credit, and the semester culminates with an exciting day of presenatations.
If you are interested in getting involved in Emory's DRP, please see the link above. If you are a graduate student looking to start a DRP at your university, I would be happy to share some of my experiences. I also recommend you seek out other resources, e.g. the DRP Network.
